Body Awareness Month!
As we wrap up Body Awareness Month, our students participated in an exciting POUND fitness session today! Not only did they get to work their bodies with this fun rhythmic cardio workout, but they also challenged their brains.
POUND involves crossing the midline, which engages both hemispheres of the brain, promoting better coordination and cognitive function. By incorporating music and rhythm with exercise, students improved their spatial awareness, balance, and body control. It's amazing how this workout blends fitness, brainpower, and fun!
