Jr. Kindergarten & Kindergarten Start-Up Dates

While Thursday, August 28th, 2025 marks the first official day of school, many Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten start-up dates, and/or scheduled orientation meetings with families, vary to ease the transition to school. Harry Balfour School has staggered entry dates for Kindergarten from August 28th - 29th and September 2nd - 3rd. The first full-day of Kindergarten is Thursday, September 4th.

 

The first official day of Jr. Kindergarten is September 9th. Morning classes begin at 8:20 a.m. and end at 11:20 a.m. Afternoon classes begin at 12:30 p.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. The final day of Jr. Kindergarten is June 16th, 2026.
