Northwest Alberta Sports Excellence Awards

Nominations are open for the 2024 Northwest Alberta Sport Excellence Awards. They have added two new categories this year, Junior Official of the Year and Award of Sport Excellence. Full details can be seen at www.gpsportconnect.ca/events/sea

Outstanding Junior Official Award - The Northwest Alberta Sport Excellence Awards is proud to introduce the Outstanding Junior Official Award, recognizing the vital contributions of young officials to the growth and development of the game during the 2023 year.

Award of Sport Excellence (ASE) - The Award of Sport Excellence is a distinguished honor presented to an Athlete, Team or Coach who showcases outstanding performances in their respective sports. To be eligible for the ASE, athletes, coaches, and teams must meet the criteria for the Athlete/Coach/Team of the Year award category, in addition to actively participating in eligible competitions. Recognition in this category is not guaranteed, emphasizing the extraordinary nature of the achievements.
