Mr. Groff continuing as Assistant Principal next year! Mr. Jonathan Groff, who is currently Acting Assistant Principal at Harry Balfour School, has accepted the permanent position for the upcoming school year. Mr. Groff has spent his 16 years of teaching with PWPSD and the last seven at Harry Balfour School. He says he has always seen one of his roles as an educator as helping prepare students for their individual futures, whatever they picture it to be. “I love that, as an assistant principal, I can offer students even more of what they need to be successful right now and in the future. I love that this role allows me to work with and for students on a whole new level.” Mr. Groff joins newly appointed assistant principal Mrs. Maryanne Buck and Mrs. Jen Clevette as Harry Balfour School’s administration team.
Welcome Mrs. Buck as HBS Assistant Principal next year. Mrs. Maryanne Buck says she is excited to embark on a new journey with the administrative team at Harry Balfour School. “I know Harry Balfour School has a well-established school culture and excellent community, and am looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and getting to know the Harry Balfour families.” Mrs. Buck has worked for PWPSD since 2016 and has held various roles at Penson School and Whispering Ridge Community School, where she is currently Assistant Principal.
